Can you tell that this month’s flock has a special eclectic spirit? Over time our fiber feather bins at the studio fill up with extra pieces not used in previous projects. At a certain creative tipping point, we spread them onto our studio tables and let them inspire a flock. We call these kinds of chickens our “treasure” breed. This month, purely for the sake of entertainment, we decided to honor the breed with rousing pirate names.
